D’Andre Rogers and Ayden Hector, both Bellevue residents and Eastside Catholic football standouts, signed their letters of intent to play collegiate football with Pac-12 schools on Dec. 18. Rogers, a tight end for the Crusaders, signed with University of California, Berkeley. Hector, a defensive back, will be going to Stanford University. A ceremony was held in the Eastside Catholic gymnasium to celebrate their accomplishments. The Crusaders won the 3A state title with a 20-12 victory over O’Dea on Dec. 7.
