The Bellevue Wolverines (3-2) pulled away in the second half to knock off the Lake Washington Kangaroos (0-5) by a score of 42-21 on Oct. 4.

Bellevue opened the scoring with a touchdown pass from quarterback Bryson Sleeper to running back Carson Laws in the second quarter. Lake Washington tied up the game before halftime thanks to wide receiver Evan Liggett catching his first of three touchdowns on the night. In the second half, the Bellevue offense exploded for 35 points to pull away from Lake Washington. Bellevue will look to get another league victory when the Wolverines travel to face the Interlake Saints (1-4) at 7 p.m. Oct. 11.
