Bellevue golfer selected to Junior Presidents Cup team

Bellevue High School senior Ian Siebers was selected to the Junior Presidents Cup team that will compete in Melbourne, Australia.

The competition will take place at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club from Dec. 8-9, leading up to the PGA Tour Presidents Cup. Siebers was one of 12 American golfers to be picked for the team.

Last spring, Siebers finished second individually at state and helped the Wolverines golf team to their first ever state championship. Siebers has committed to playing golf at Duke University beginning in the fall of 2020. In July, Siebers won the Junior America’s Cup in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Siebers was also named the Washington State Golf Association Junior Player of the Year in 2018.
