Hundreds came out to Crossroads Park last weekend to attend the 16th annual Strawberry Festival hosted by the Eastside Heritage Center.

The event featured live music, several food trucks and booths, as well as games and activities for all ages.

Bellevue resident Char Linnae has been to the festival for the past few years and attended this year’s event with her grandchildren on Saturday.

“I love the family focus and we feel it’s a real community event. It has nice rides, a good food balance, there is history,” she said. “It’s comprehensive and you see multi-generational families. There is always something new every year so it keeps you coming back and the park is a huge focal point. Rain or shine everyone always come out and of course there’s always strawberries so you can’t go wrong.”
