Sammamish High School held its grand opening and ribbon cutting on Sept. 29. The new three-story school is an impressive 323,153 square feet, with 79 classrooms and state-of-the-art academic and athletic spaces, which were integrated with the existing Performing Arts Center. The capacity of the new building is 1,800 students, with the ability to expand to 2,250 students with added parking on the east side of the school.
