Bellevue Police K9 retires after 7 years of service

Bellevue Police K9 Roc has retired after seven years of service, the department announced Tuesday.

During his tenure, Roc captured 85 suspects, including a 2016 shooting suspect and another who had attempted to run over a police officer with his vehicle. He has also helped track down $30,000 in cash.

Roc will spend his retirement lounging on the couch in the home of his handler, Officer Knudtsen.
