A women’s tennis team based out of Bellevue captured a national title at the USTA League 2.5 National Championships at the Mobile Tennis Center in Alabama. The Bellevue team, which is comprised of Valentine LaFleche, Ruoh-Shin Lumpkin, HirokoKuroi, Gina Narkunas, Jiarui Ge, Terri Smith, Carley Alexander, Joanna Yamada, earned a 3-0 win against a squad from Jacksonville, Florida in the finals on Sept. 25.
