Police are searching for an alleged child molester who may be back in the Bellevue area.

Dandy Lopez-Diaz was accused of molesting a 12-year-old neighbor in 2013. The alleged victim’s family found out about the incident several days afterwards, but by that time, Lopez-Diaz had fled the state, the Bellevue Police stated. His car was later located in San Bernardino County.

Law enforcement now believe Lopez-Diaz is back in the area. A witness reported that they saw him last month at a gas station in Bellevue.

Lopez-Diaz may be driving a compact red vehicle, possibly a Mazda, according to police. Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of Lopez-Diaz. Anyone with information may call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
