Resource software company moves to Bellevue

Acumatica, a software company specializing in enterprise resource planning, has moved its headquarters to Bellevue from Kirkland.

Nigel LeGresley, the company’s chief operating officer, said 25 employees would be making the move. Acumatica has 150 employees and more than 2,000 clients worldwide, including offices in Montreal, Moscow, Singapore and Mexico.

“We were originally incorporated in Virginia and we moved to Seattle in 2012,” LeGresley said. “We decided Seattle was where we wanted to be, and especially on the Eastside. It’s a very vibrant, diverse area and close to Microsoft.”

Enterprise resource planning software is usually a suite of different but integrated applications which allow businesses to track and analyze data. Some of the data possible to be analyzed comes from product planning, manufacturing, marketing or even delivery.

Acumatica moved last week into Lincoln Plaza.

“Bellevue is a really great location for us,” LeGresley said. “The vibrancy of the downtown area is really important for us and our employees, and Bellevue definitely has that.”
