November 30
Annie, get your gun: The victim was home with her son when she heard loud noises coming from her front door. She realized that someone was trying to kick in her door, so she screamed “Go away, I have a gun”. The suspect fled and the victim never got a look at him, but her sister who arrived moments later saw a white male running from the apartment. Police did not locate the suspect.
Urine trouble: A police corporal observed the subject walk into oncoming traffic on 148th Avenue Northeast. He had urine-soaked clothing, no shoes and was wearing a T-shirt. He was extremely warm to the touch and could not answer basic questions. Once contacted by the officer, the subject’s condition deteriorated and began to show signs of extreme paranoia. He was taken into protective custody and transported to the hospital via ambulance.
Booked after a bike crash: The victim called to report she crashed her bike on the Lake Hills Connector. An officer arrived and learned that the victim had an ankle injury, and a warrant out of Bothell for theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. After a short stay at Overlake Medical Center, the subject was arrested and transported to Bothell.
December 1
Homeland (lack of) Security: An undercover Homeland Security vehicle was prowled and tactical body armor was stolen. There were miscellaneous equipment attached to the vest, including a loaded pistol and rifle magazines. The prowl was discovered on Nov. 30, but the theft was not discovered and reported until the next day. No firearms were reportedly taken.
Felon with firearms: A police corporal pulled over a suspect on Coal Creek Parkway Southeast. Upon contact, the corporal observed boxes of rifle ammunition at the suspect’s feet. The suspect was arrested after it was determined the suspect is a convicted felon and prohibited from owning firearms. The suspect’s vehicle was seized for a search warrant and the suspect was booked into King County Jail.
December 2
All tied up: A Medina Police officer requested Bellevue Police assist with an in-progress burglary as he was tied up on another possible burglary investigation. A Bellevue officer located a broken entry door window that had been broken with a baseball. The victim claimed the suspect had broken the window and taunted her from the driveway before walking away. While a K-9 was attempting to track the suspect, he walked back up to the patrol car in front of the residence and was detained without incident.
December 4
No good deed goes unpunished: The victim, a good samaritan, came to the aid of another male who was being harassed by the suspect. The suspect and two other unidentified males then turned on the victim, and struck him in the face several times before running off. The victim was taken to Overlake Hospital with two orbital fractures to his face and blurry vision. An officer investigated and attempted to locate the suspect, but he could not be found.

December 6
Totaled vehicle, nearly-toppled pole: Subject struck her vehicle into a utility pole going westbound on Coal Creek Parkway, totaling her vehicle. The vehicle struck with enough force to shear the utility pole at its base. The driver was transported to Overlake with minor injuries. The roadway was shut down completely between Forest Drive and Factoria Boulevard due to concerns that the pole would topple. PSE responded and determined that the vehicle and wires would hold it in place until a repairs could be completed.
Livestream situation: Bellevue Police were contacted by a California Police Department regarding a subject using the video app Periscope to stream suicidal statements and ramblings over the internet. The subject was tracked to Bellevue. A police corporal was able to track the subject to the Starbucks at the Barnes and Noble in Downtown Bellevue. The subject was streaming when contacted by Bellevue Police. He was taken to Overlake Hospital.
