Barnes gets PLY Presidential Scholarship

David Barnes, of Bellevue, has been awarded a President’s Scholarship worth $24,000 a year—along with the opportunity to earn even more — at Pacific Lutheran University.

Nearly 500 incoming freshmen apply for Presidential Scholarships each year and for the 2015-16 academic year, 140 were selected.
