Bellevue defeats Mercer Island in water polo matchup

Senior night proved to be sensational for the Bellevue Wolverines boys water polo team.

The Wolverines picked up their 10th win of the 2014 season courtesy of a 15-13 victory against the Mercer Island Islanders on Oct. 21 in Bellevue.

Zack Rossman had a game-high four goals and Cameron Hayes added three goals for the Wolverines. Josh Rehder, AJ Rossman and Daniel Sandler added two goals apiece. Liam Naughton and Garrett Williams each scored a goal as well.

The Wolverines are in first place with one regular season game remaining on their schedule.
