Workshop offered on watching salmon

The city of Bellevue will offer a workshop on salmon from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16 at City Hall.
The Salmon Watcher Workshop asks participants to attend one workshop, watch for salmon twice a week for 15 minutes and then record their findings. No experience is necessary.
The program helps local salmon recovery efforts. Findings show how salmon are using local streams, identify possible fish passage barriers, and help target salmon recovery projects. Citizens may also attend just to learn more about our local salmon.
Those interested can register by contacting Bellevue Stream Team at streamteam@bellevuewa.gov or 425-452-5200 and then attend the workshop.
