Gavish to head Jewish Day School

Hamutal Gavish has been named Head of School at the Jewish Day School in Bellevue.

Gavish is currently the campus head of the K-8 Brandeis Hillel Day School in Marin, Calif. Previously, she founded a day school in Boston and worked at schools in Southern California and Atlanta.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Minnesota, with a focus on math and science, and a Masters of Arts in Jewish Education and Administration from Rheah Hirsch School of Education, Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion, Los Angeles.

Gavish begins work July 1.
