Author Susan Cooper to speak at library

Susan Cooper, author of the classic five-book sequence, The Dark is Rising, will speak at the Bellevue Library on Sept. 25.

Cooper’s books won a Newbery Medal, a Newbery Honor Award, and two Carnegie Honor Awards. She also writes books for young adults and adults.

She will discuss her newest release for children, Ghost Hawk.

The event will be at 7 p.m. The library is located at 1111 110th Ave. NE.
