Walk to benefit dogs
Published 4:32 pm Thursday, June 20, 2013
Dogs and their people will be walking at Bellevue’s Downtown Park on Saturday, June 21 as part of Walk for Old Dog. The event is sponsored by Old Dog Haven, which provides safe homes for senior dogs age 8 and up and rate abandoned or homeless.
The organization cares for more than 200 dogs at a time and vet bills are approximately $40,000 a month. All money raised at the walk will be used to care for these wonderful senior dogs.
Participants can register and/or form a team online at www.odhfundraising.org.
