Why the delegation to Paris Air Show?

Why is the state sending 52 people to the Paris Air Show? Are they going to be cheerleaders in the front of the Boeing and suppliers’ tents?

With a budget crisis that the legislative body cannot put together in specials sessions, does that expenditure make any sense? Is that why the Democrats and governor want to raise taxes, to pay for boondoggles like Paris?

Whoever approved that expenditure should have their head examined.
