Lauren Brown receives scholarship

Lauren Brown, a student at Sammamish High School, has received a $5,000 scholarship ACE Mentor Program of Washington. She is a leader in her school, organizing a fundraiser contributing to research for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and participating in the SHS anti-bullying club.

Lauren has been recognized as an AP scholar and has been awarded the American Associate of University of Woman Scholar Award in Mathematics. Lauren will attend Stanford University and plans  to pursue a degree in civil/environmental engineering.
