Five receive National Merit scholarships

Five students from Bellevue have been awarded National Merit scholarships. They are: Katherine M. Becker, Political Science, International School; Isabel Chien, Computer Science, Newport High School; Margaret Locke, Medical Research, Interlake High School; Christine K. Ma, Biochemistry, Transition School for Early Entrance Program, Seattle; and Emily Zhang, Computer Programing, Newport High School.
