Scannell named to council
Erin Scannell a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial, was recently named to the 2012 Chairman’s Advisory Council. He once again qualified for the award based on performance and client service. Scannell works in the Bellevue office at 11400 SE Eighth St.
Clark Nuber hires 5
Clark Nuber, a Bellevue-based CPA and consulting firm, has added five employes: Patrick Lewis, audit associate; and Alison Buren, Natasha Mahtani, Joseph Purvis and Cassie Standford, all audit summer interns.
The company also awarded seven $1,000 merit-based tuition scholarships to students majoring in accounting and who have completed their sophomore year at selected accredited four-year state institutions in Washington state. They are: Doug Denneson, Washington State University; Polina Desnitsky, Central Washington University; Katie Ewton, Seattle Pacific University; Courtney Hicks, Western Washington University; Erin Nesheim, Seattle Pacific University; Tamera Pumphrey, Gonzaga University and Michelle Spruch, Seattle University.
Bank of America adds 3
Bank of America has hired three small business bankers in Bellevue. They are Azi Jarmick, Jeffrey Grimes, and Kevin Kumar. The bank plans to hire 1,000 small business bankers nationwide. Small businesses account for more than 50 percent of the state’s private-sector workforce.
CKC adds 3
Cary Kopczynski & Company (CKC) has hired three new employees: Joel Kipple, PE, as design engineer, Jacob Lanquin as CAD designer/drafter, and Aiko Hollinger as administrative assistant.
Kipple has more than six years professional engineering experience. Lanquin has 12 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting. Hollinger has four years of experience and is a graduate of Gonzaga University.
CKC is a Bellevue-based structural engineering firm.
