Sullivan selected to national lacrosse tournament
Interlake sophomore and Bellevue East midfielder Camille Sullivan has been selected by the Washington Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association to be part of a team that will represent Washington in the U.S. Lacrosse Women’s Division National Tournament in New York next month.
She will join 19 others from around the state at one of the oldest lacrosse tournaments in the country, running since 1933.
Boys soccer
Interlake 3 Juanita 2
Nick Roth, Rohan Segal and Nate Lafavour scored goals for the Saints with Chad Shapard assisting on the final two in the win.
Lake Washington 0 Sammamish 2
Gio Sanchez and Kit Hawkins scored goals for the Totems and Conor Robertson finished off the the shutout in goal for the Totems in the win.
Girls tennis
Interlake 4 Lake Washington 3
Isabelle Long and Maggie Locke were the only two singles winners but a pair of Interlake doubles teams picked up wins to help their team to the victory.
Boys golf
Interlake takes Suncadia
For the second straight year, the Interlake boys golf team won the Suncadia Invite, taking the team scoring by 23 strokes over second place Jackson with a 296.
Andrew Kennedy took medalist honors with an even par 72 and was helped my Grant Cole’s 73 and Patrick Sato’s 74, which was good enough for third. Andy Liu and Sam Fisher each shot 77.
