Newport moved its conference mark to 3-2 behind seven innings on the mound from Billy Sahlinger, who allowed only three hits while striking out seven.

The senior also had a 3-4 day at the plate with three RBI. Nate Anderson also added three hits and scored two runs while Aaron Sandefur and Kyle Goemmer each had two hit, two RBI games for Newport in the win.

Mitch Johnson scored a goal and added a pair of assists and Dennis Malinov netted two more for Bellevue in the win over Lake Washington.

Cody Gibson and Bennett Bugbee scored the final two goals of the night for the Wolverines.
