Family balance topic of lecture series for parents

‘Seattle Mama Doc’ Wendy Sue Swanson will speak as part of ParentMap’s 2012 lecture series March 21 at Meydenbauer Center.
Swanson will discuss the work/home juggling act, technology use, the role of smart decision-making in caring for children, as well as how to decipher medical terminology as a parent. Her lecture will focus on the birth to 8 years old age range.
Dr. Swanson is a practicing pediatrician and the mother of two young boys. She practices at The Everett Clinic in Mill Creek, is on the medical staff at Seattle Children’s and is a clinical instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington.
