Bellevue boys, girls set to open Sea-King tourney | Prep basketball roundup

Boys basketball

Bellevue earned the second seed from KingCo and will face Rainier Beach on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Inglemoor High School at 4:45 p.m.

The winner will move on to face the winner of another first round game between Mercer Island and O’Dea.

Bellevue Christian has the second seed to the Tri-District tournament and will play Life Christian Academy at home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Girls basketball

3A KingCo champion Bellevue will meet Lakeside on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Bellevue College at 6:30 p.m. for a spot in the tournament semi-finals against either Bainbridge or Cleveland.

Newport will face Skyline, also on Tuesday, at 3 p.m. at Juanita to keep its season alive. A loss will put the Knights through to the consolation final against either Issaquah or Inglemoor.

Top seeded Bellevue Christian faces Nooksack Valley at home on Tuesday with a 5:30 p.m. tip time for a spot in the tournament semi-finals against either Seattle Christian or King’s (Shoreline).
