Religion causes problems

As someone who isn’t religious or belong to any religious institution, I strongly object to religious institutions using politicians to pass legislation to impose their religious beliefs on others.
Religious beliefs, whether taken from the Bible or the Koran,
only apply to those who have willingly accepted that faith.
Religion distracts from the world solving real and pervasive problems like poverty and the growing gap between the majority of the world’s population and those at the top who make decisions which, as one looks around the world, have not been in the best interest of the people.
