Snow, ice cause change in residential waste collection

Because of snow and icy conditions, Allied Waste, which serves Bellevue and other Eastside cities, is not running residential routes Monday. It is running limited commercial routes, servicing critical sites.

Residents whose waste is not collected Monday should put out a double load on their regular collection day next week, Allied officials said.

The company advises people to check its website for further collection updates.
