War, corruption are hurting us

I don’t know of anyone who does not feel that the military budget must

be cut. Spending so much on the military and starting three very unnecessary wars plus subsidizing the very rich is what has gotten this country in the terrible financial mess we now find ourselves in.

Just look at China, which during the same period concentrated on investing in its people and infrastructure. No wonder beating the pants off the U.S. Look at Brazil, South Africa, and even Russia – all the countries, plus many more, are advancing rapidly because they are investing in their people.

The other thing that has gotten this country into trouble is corruption,

which has led to massive fraud leaving most Americans devastated

financially. Republicans must wake up and realize all the money

and wealth of the country is in the top 10 percent of the population. The

bottom 90 percent are tapped out and continue to have what little resources

they have drained away not by taxes but by Wall Street, banks, and

other businesses which have been given the green light to fleece the

country.
