Spending is the problem

We don’t have a revenue problem in the U.S. or in Washington state. We have a spending problem – due to an oversized government. Additional taxing at any level takes more money out of the economy resulting in less spending, and reduces investment in job creation ventures.

And suggesting Congress increase the government debit ceiling is not the answer to our budget problems. The government cannot efficiently manage the revenue and spending with the current debit ceiling, but some in Congress want to entrust the government with more of our dollars – so that they can mismanagement that too? Hello!

Businesses and individuals who increase their loans and credit card debit eventually have a good chance of ending up in bankruptcy, which is where our country is headed at the current deficit rate.
