Bellevue Boys & Girls Clubs volunteers picked for jazz band

Walter Cano, a volunteer at the Bellevue Boys & Girls Clubs, has been selected among numerous applicants from all over the country to play in the 2011 Jazz Band of America. The band performed March 18 in Indianapolis during the Music for All National Festival.

The musicians were chosen from eight different states and 17 high schools via recorded audition.
