Bellevue Philharmonic offers behind the scenes look

As part of its outreach program, the board of directors for the Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra is inviting students to attend its dress rehearsals at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 27 and March 19.

These rehearsals are free and will take place at the Theatre at Meydenbauer, 11100 NE Sixth St. Students and parents can experience a ‘behind the scenes’ look of professional musicians here in Bellevue.

The Philharmonic’s upcoming concerts are:

Masterworks II – Jan. 22, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. (The concert will be recorded by KING FM to play later in the year.); Jan. 23 at 2 p.m.

Masterworks III – March 19 at 7:30 p.m.; March 20 at 2 p.m.

Pops Concert – May 7 at 7:30 p.m.; May 8 at 2 p.m.
