Congress has wrong priorities

Published 3:26 pm Thursday, October 28, 2010

It seem ironic that Congress doesn’t have the time to pass legislation relating to off shore drilling, food safety, economic improvement bills to get our economy back on track, tax cuts, a national tracking system to track arsonists etc., but it does have time for bills to lower the volume of TV commercials (try the mute button), to honor a golfer in California for his volunteer work, to require American flags bought by the government and gifts sold in the Capital gift shop to be made in the US (both good ideas), a tax break to pet owners, and a host of others.

Congress seems more interested in their pet projects vs. taking care of significant national actions in support of the Constitution.
