Two Bellevue schools locked down temporarily as police search for burglary suspect

Phantom Lake Elementary and Tillicum Middle School went into lockdown for approximately 40 minutes Thursday as police searched for a burglary suspect.

A Bellevue School District spokeswoman said the building was cleared around 2 p.m. when police determined the area to be safe. The lockdown of the two schools came as a precaution while police investigated.
