Change in our state is critical

It is interesting how both Washingtons seem to be having the same challenges. Giant deficits, massive tax increases and both seem to be chasing private sector job creators to other states and abroad. We need change here in this Washington as much as we do in the other and will find it in my good friend, Peter Dunbar. Peter is running to represent Bellevue, Renton and Mercer Island in Olympia.

I first met Peter as we entered the MBA program at the University of Washington 10 years ago. Peter is a 25-year practicing physician, educator, small business owner and a Scotsman. I have watched him show his leadership in the MBA program and as president of the Washington Medical Association where he earned many friends on both sides of the isle.

In Olympia, Peter will focus on a balanced budget without raising taxes. Not raising taxes means bringing the job creators to our state instead of sending them away.
