Gates foundation official to speak at Chamber

Dr. Yun-Ling Wong, a program director on the global health discovery team for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, will keynote the Bellevue Chamber Business Lunch Thursday, July 15, from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Wong will discuss the challenges in the foundation’s global health initiative aimed at solutions that could lead to breakthrough advances for those in the developing world. Dr. Wong leads the Grand Challenges Explorations initiative, which has already awarded over $25 million to innovators in 31 countries to explore new ideas.
