Leaine M. Byfield Gibson, formerly of Bellevue, died June 16, 2010. She was 78.
Mrs. Gibson was born July 20, 1931 to Charles and Wilma Byfield in Sharpsville, Ind. At a young age, she had a gift for music and first attended Jordan Conservatory of Music at Butler University and continued her education at California State University Long Beach (CSULB) where she received her Bachelor and Master of Arts in Music.
In 2005,she moved to Washington from Southern California to be near her daughter and grandsons.
She is survived by her four children: Teresa Neidorf, Beth Sinser, Mark Gibson and Geoffrey Gibson; sister, Sherry Williams; eight grandchildren and one great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
