Robert Dotson, chief executive at Bellevue-based T-Mobile, will step down next year, the company has announced.
T-Mobile said Dotson will be replaced by Philipp Humm, an executive from T-Mobile’s parent company Deutsche Telekom, in February 2011.
“It has long been my intent to step away from the business at this stage in my life in order to devote more time to family and to take on entirely new and unique challenges,” Dotson said.
Prior to joining Deutsche Telekom, Humm worked for a number of U.S. companies including McKinsey, Procter & Gamble and Amazon.
