KITH luncheon to feature businessman’s story

Not so very long ago, Richard LeMieux was a successful businessman. He ran his own publishing company, lived in a house on the beach, drove a cool car, had a loving family.

Can a successful, hard-working employer understand the impacts of homelessness on a personal level? On a community-wide level?

Business leaders have an opportunity to hear firsthand the answers to these and other questions about homelessness in East King County at KITH’s “Fighting HOmelessness – We mean business” luncheon, Friday, April 16 at The Fairfield Inn-Marriott in Bellevue.

KITH is a non-profit organization of neighbors creating housing solutions.

Author Richard LeMieux will tell his compelling story oaf successful businessman with his own publishing company who suddenly found it all gone, his family leave him him become homeless.

He will share the practical, life-changing impacts of KITH’s transitional housing and case management programs.

All proceeds from the luncheon will go directly to support KITH programs to help homeless families. Suggested donation is $100 per ticket. Space is limited.
