Newport High to host swing and waltz event

The Friends of Newport Orchestra group will present Knights in Vienna, an evening of waltz and swing music with professional dance instruction and desserts Jan. 16, 7 p.m. in the Newport High School Commons (4333 Factoria Blvd. SE).

The event will feature performances by Newport students and live music from the award-winning Newport High orchestra. A raffle and silent auction will also take place to raise money for the orchestra.
