Jillian Vontver attends Presidential Inauguration

Jillian Vontver, a senior at Newport High School, participated in the People to People Presidential Inauguration program where she witnessed the swearing-in of of Barack Obama as the 44th president of the United States.

Her trip to Washington, D.C., also included discussions with political experts and access to the U.S. Capitol and National Archives.
