Bellevue baseball sweeps Interlake

Alex Bielaski delivered on the mound and at the plate for Bellevue on Friday, helping the Wolverines to a 5-3 win over Interlake at Bannerwood.

Bielaski went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a double as well as pitched six innings of 3-hit ball to get the win for Bellevue (6-2, 6-2 KingCo 3A/2A).

Matt Malos led the Saints (1-8, 1-7) at the plate with a double. Bellevue, who defeated the Saints 3-0 on Thursday, sweep the season series.

Matt Allan took the loss for Interlake. The right-hander went only one inning and allowed two runs on two hits.

Newport 5, Eastlake 0

Zach Nasu and Cole Wiper each knocked in two runs and Jared Fisher pitched a complete-game two-hitter, as the Knights blanked Eastlake 5-0 in Sammamish.

Fisher struck out five and walked three in seven innings to get the win for the Knights (4-3, 3-2 KingCo 4A). Wolves pitcher Connor Best took the loss for Eastlake (4-3, 3-2), lasting four innings and giving up seven hits and four earned runs.
