Earth-friendly garden seminar set

Earth Friendly Gardening information and a plant exchange are features of the green spring program sponsored by Bellevue First United Methodist Church’s Environmental Team on Saturday, March 21 from 9:30 until noon.
The event, which includes door prizes and refreshments, is free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to bring garden or houseplants for a plant swap.
Informational speakers, sharing their knowledge and experiences, include master gardener Wally Presbo, an expert on growing tomatoes and other vegetables; Laila Suidan of the Garden Hotline discussing “Right Plant,
Right Place”; and a King County master composter/recycler speaking on organic soil improvement.
