Former Sammamish coach joins Cal

New University of California head coach Mike Montgomery has added a familiar name to his staff in former Sammamish High School and Green River Community College coach Travis DeCuire.

DeCuire coached the Totems to two KingCo titles and a state tournament appearance during his time as Sammamish’s head coach.

As a player, DeCuire played point guard from 1991-94 and earned All-Big Sky honors his junior and senior years. He had been an assistant coach at Old Dominion for the past five years.
