Wolverines softball team defeats Saints in rivalry matchup

Wolverines conquer Saints

The Bellevue Wolverines cruised to a 13-0 win against the Interlake Saints on April 28. Bellevue (8-6) will host the Redmond Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on May 5 at Bellevue High School. Interlake (6-9) will host the Sammamish Totems at 4:30 p.m. on May 5 in Bellevue.

Rebels dominate Totems

The Juanita Rebels defeated the Sammamish Totems 15-0 on April 28. The Totems (0-13) will face the Interlake Saints at 4:30 p.m. on May 5 at Interlake High School in Bellevue.

Wolves earn victory

The Eastlake Wolves earned a 12-5 win against the Newport Knights on April 28. Newport (5-9) will face the Skyline Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on May 9 in Sammamish.

Seattle Christian captures victory against Bellevue Christian

For the first time during the 2017 season the Bellevue Christian Vikings experienced a defeat. Seattle Christian earned a 14-6 win against the Vikings on April 28. Bellevue Christian (9-1) will host the Sammamish Totems at 4 p.m. on May 9 at Hidden Valley Park in Bellevue.

Mercer Island defeats Bellevue in rivalry showdown

In a matchup featuring last year’s state championship competitors, the Mercer Island Islanders earned a 6-4 victory against the Bellevue Wolverines on April 26. Bellevue (13-2) will host Eastside Catholic on May 6 at Bellevue High School.

BASEBALL

Wolverines dominate Falcons in non-league game

The Bellevue Wolverines registered a 6-0 win against the Kentlake Falcons on April 29. Bellevue improved their overall record to 16-3 with the victory.

Eagles defeat Knights in KingCo contest

The Issaquah Eagles baseball team captured a 3-1 win against the Newport Knights on April 28. Newport dropped to 6-12 overall with the loss.

Saints win nail-biter matchup against Bulldogs

The Interlake Saints registered a 6-5 victory against the Garfield Bulldogs on April 29. Interlake improved its overall record to 10-10 with the win.

Rebels shutout Totems

The Juanita Rebels nabbed a 8-0 victory against the Sammamish Totems on April 27. Sammamish dropped to 2-18 overall.

Seattle Christian earns win against Bellevue Christian

Seattle Christian defeated the Bellevue Christian Vikings 8-2 on April 28. Bellevue Christian dropped to 7-9 overall.

SOCCER

Interlake sweeps Bellevue

The Interlake Saints boys soccer team was victorious against the Bellevue Wolverines for the second time during the 2017 season courtesy of a 3-2 win on April 28. Interlake improved their overall record to 8-6-2 with the win. Bellevue dropped to 4-10-1 overall.

Skyline captures win

The Skyline Spartans, who are currently in first place in the KingCo 4A Division, defeated the Newport Knights 2-0 on April 28. Newport dropped to 6-6-3 overall with the loss.

GOLF

Saints conquer Totems on the golf links

The Interlake Saints golf team improved to 6-0 in KingCo play with a 205-226 (low score wins in golf) victory against the Sammamish Totems on April 27. Interlake sophomore Samantha Na shot a 38 on the nine-hole course. Saints’ sophomore Iris Deng and Totems’ freshman Mehr Luthra tied for second place with a 40.
