Senior Jamal Atofau scored on runs of seven and 34-yards to quickly put Bellevue up 14-0 and give the Wolverines all the points they needed to remain undefeated at 7-0.

Will Fields scored three times for Bellevue on runs of 28, 49, and 4 yards in the win and Brayden Van Ackeron hauled in a 45-yard pass from quarterback Joe Joe Connor for another touchdown. Fields finished with 137 yards on eight carries for the Wolverines.

Bellevue (7-0, 4-0 KingCo 3A) scored all its points in the first half and the defense yielded only a 5-yard rushing touchdown to Juanita’s Jack Bayley in the third quarter.

The Wolverines now gear up for a huge game against Liberty, which has won five-straight games and is sitting in second place in KingCo with a 6-1 overall record, its only loss a non-league setback to 4A Woodinville.

The Rebels dropped to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

Liberty 40,

Interlake 12

John Kirksey scored the first two touchdowns of the game and Greg Ericksen scored three times as Liberty rolled over Interlake 40-12 at home.

Ericksen, a 6-foot, 180-pound senior, scored on runs of two, 41 and 28yards in the big win for Liberty (6-1, 4-0), which has won five straight games since a loss to 4A Woodinville.

Interlake cut its deficit to 14-6 after Brett Kirschner scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter, but Liberty scored twice more before Matt Malos hit junior receiver Dylan Amell for a 65-yard score.

The Saints (4-3, 2-3) have lost two-straight since beginning the season 4-1.

Mount Si 43,

Sammamish 0

Quarterback Tyson Riley scored three touchdowns for the Wildcats (4-3, 3-1), running for two scores and returning an interception 30 yards for another as Mount Si rolled over Sammamish 43-0.

It was the second-straight game in which the Totems (0-7, 0-5) have failed to score.

Mount Si had four different players score touchdowns and also recorded a safety in the victory.

Eastlake 42,

Newport 13

Senior quarterback Drake Furcini threw three touchdown passes and rushed for another as Eastlake (4-3, 2-2 KingCo 4A) piled up the points on Newport.

Eastlake led 14-0 when Ian Case rumbled into the end zone from a yard out to get Newport within eight points, but the Wolves rallied to score the next 28 points to distance themselves from the Knights (4-3, 2-2).

Andrew West scored on a fourth-quarter 12-yard run for Newport in the loss.
