Rebels defeat Saints

The Juanita Rebels captured a 32-24 victory against the Interlake Saints on Oct. 21. The Saints (5-3) will host the Redmond Mustangs at 7 p.m. on Oct. 28 at Interlake High School in Bellevue.

Wolverines dominate Mustangs

The Bellevue Wolverines cruised to a 50-7 win against the Redmond Mustangs on Oct. 21. Bellevue (4-1) will play the Lake Washington Kangaroos at 7 p.m. on Oct. 28 at Lake Washington High School in Kirkland.

Patriots pitch shutout against Totems

The Liberty Patriots registered a 51-0 win against the Sammamish Totems on Oct. 21. The Totems overall record is currently 4-4.

Cougars earn victory against Knights

The Bothell Cougars nabbed a 56-27 win against the Newport Knights on Oct. 21. The Knights (1-7) will host the Mount Si Wildcats at 7 p.m. on Oct. 28 at Newport High School in Factoria.

SOCCER

Wolverines cruise past Saints

The Bellevue Wolverines registered a 5-0 victory against the Interlake Saints on Oct. 20. Bellevue improved their overall record to 12-0-2 with the win. Interlake dropped to 1-11-2 with the loss.

Mustangs defeat Totems

The Redmond Mustangs defeated the Sammamish Totems 3-0 on Oct. 20. The Totems dropped to 1-13 with the loss.

VOLLEYBALL

Wolverines cruise past Juanita in volleyball match

The Bellevue Wolverines nabbed a 3-0 victory against the Juanita Rebels on Oct. 19. The Wolverines improved their overall record to 12-3 with the victory.

WATER POLO

Wolverines capture victory

The Bellevue Wolverines defeated Shorewood 17-9 on Oct. 20. Bellevue (16-2) faced Inglemoor on Oct. 26. As of press time, results of this contest were unavailable.

                                Bellevue resident Kevin Doyle captured the E2 Class win at National Auto Sports Association’s renowned 25 hours of Thunderhill presented by Hawk Performance on Dec 2-3. The race, which took place at Thunderhill Raceway Park in California, had more than 50 amateur and professional race teams throughout the United States. Doyle’s KD Motorsports team turned 664 laps on a 3-mile long road course, logging 1,992 miles during the endurance race. “We lost every gear but fourth (gear),” Doyle said. “We had oil pressure issues. We were down to our backing plates on the rear brakes, so it was metal on metal on the back. We were getting everything we could.”
