Wednesday morning wrap: Volleyball

A summary of all the volleyball action from Tues., Oct. 21.

Newport 3, Inglemoor 0

Maddy Bell had 10 kills and three blocks and Julia Campbell had 15 kills to help lead Newport over Inglemoor 25-17, 25-15, 25-22.

Newport improved to 12-4 overall and 8-1 in KingCo 4A. Inglmoor, led by Kendra Cotton’s 19 digs, dropped to 3-8 and 3-6.

Forest Ridge 3, Bellevue Christian 1

Burke Okrasinski had 13 kills and four aces, helping to lead Forest Ridge to a 25-16, 22-25, 25-16, 25-18 victory over Bellevue Christian.

Lauren Byrne had eight kills and five blocks for the Ravens (8-4, 7-4 Emerald City League). Emily Pollock had a game-high 32 assists for Forest Ridge.

Bellevue Christian (5-11, 4-7) was led by Stephanie Miller with 14 kills and Dani Christianson with 12 digs.
