Vikings remain undefeated

The Bellevue Christian Vikings won their sixth consecutive game to start the 2017 season, rolling to a 13-3 win against Vashon Island on March 31. The Vikings currently have an overall record of 6-0.

Newport ends losing streak with win in close contest

The Newport Knights ended their three-game losing streak courtesy of a 6-5 win against the Mount Si Wildcats on March 30. The Knights improved their overall record to 4-3 with the win.

Saints defeat Patriots in high-scoring game

The Interlake Saints defeated the Liberty Patriots 16-15 on March 31. The Saints improved their overall record to 3-5 with the win.

Mustangs shutout Totems

The Redmond Mustangs collected a 13-0 win against the Sammamish Totems on March 31. Sammamish dropped to 0-6 with the loss.

GOLF

Bellevue women’s golf club is accepting applications

The Bellevue women’s golf club is currently accepting 2017 applications for women interested in playing competitive golf at the Bellevue Municipal Golf Course. Weekly play is held every Tuesday beginning in March through the final Tuesday of October. Interlake captures victory against Lake Washington

The Interlake Saints nabbed a 203-232 victory (low score wins in golf) against the Lake Washington Kangaroos on March 30 at the Bellevue Municipal Golf Course. Saints’ sophomore Juhi Sinha captured first place with a 39. Saints golfer Samantha Na nabbed a second place finish with a score of 40 strokes on the nine-hole course.

BASEBALL

Baseball clinic will take place in April

Steve Goucher, a former professional baseball player and Atlanta Braves scout, will conduct a baseball clinic from 10 a.m. to noon on April 13 and April 14 at Hidden Valley Sports Park in Bellevue. Lake Washington earns win against Interlake

The Lake Washington Kangaroos registered a 2-0 victory against the Interlake Saints on March 31. The Saints dropped to 5-2 overall with the loss.

Totems lose non-league contest to Burlington-Edison

Burlington-Edison rolled to a 10-4 win against the Sammamish Totems on April 1. The Totems dropped to 0-8 overall.

Seattle Christian defeats Bellevue Christian

Seattle Christian nabbed a 13-6 win against the Bellevue Christian Vikings in a showdown between private schools on March 31. Bellevue Christian dropped to 2-5 with the loss.

Kentwood cruises to win against Newport

The Kentwood Conquerors cruised to a 13-1 victory against the Newport Knights on April 1. Newport dropped to 1-6 with the loss.

SOCCER

Saints defeat rival Totems on the soccer pitch

The Interlake Saints registered a 4-0 win against the Sammamish Totems on March 31. The Saints improved to 4-2-1 with the win. The Totems dropped to 1-5 with the loss.
