Newport loses to rival Skyline in KingCo contest

The Skyline Spartans captured a 27-17 victory against the Newport Knights on Sept. 8. Newport (1-1) will host the Issaquah Eagles at 7 p.m. on Sept. 15 at Newport High School in Factoria.

Wolverines earn win against Garfield in non-league game

The Bellevue Wolverines captured their first victory of the 2017 season courtesy of convincing 34-16 win against the Garfield Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Sept. 8 in Bellevue. The Wolverines (1-1) will face Tumwater in a non-league matchup at 7 p.m. on Sept. 15 in Tumwater.

Bellevue Christian loses to Tenino in gridiron battle

Tenino defeated the Bellevue Christian Vikings 20-7 in a non-league matchup on Sept. 8. The Vikings (0-2) will host Chelan at 5 p.m. on Sept. 16 at Lake Washington High School in Kirkland.

Coupeville wins close contest against Bellevue Christian

Coupeville nabbed a 3-2 win against the Bellevue Christian Vikings on Sept. 9. Bellevue Christian (2-1) will host Forest Ridge at 4 p.m. on Sept. 19 at Marymour Park.

The Bellevue Wolverines and Holy Names Academy finished the season opener in a 1-1 tie on Sept. 9. Bellevue (0-0-1) will face one of their biggest rivals, the Mercer Island Islanders at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 19 in Mercer Island.
