Bellevue’s Zhang notches Drive, Chip and Putt title

Angela Zhang, 9, of Bellevue won the Girls 7-9 division at the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals on April 7 at Augusta National the weekend before the Masters.

Zhang topped the driving and chipping portions and took second in putting at the sixth-annual competition for golfers ages 7-15. She hammered a drive of 189 yards, 33 yards longer than her nearest competitor.
