The 12U Bellevue Blast McCarthy Team won the 12UB National Softball Association state championship game last weekend in the Tri-Cities. The team, coached by Sammamish High School athletic director Pat McCarthy, went undefeated in the field of 31 teams. The team is, from front to back, left to right: Megan Page, Kathryn Wood, Kaitlin Sahlinger, Sarah Yamaura, Maggie Pana, India Gantz, Megan Foy, Brooke Baumgartner, Sydney Hooper, Claire McCarthy, coach Brian Wood, coach Pat McCarthy, coach Bill Sahlinger.
